Paneltim® Plastic Construction Panel
The Viking advantage is our use of plastics that can be fabricated to almost any dimension. Our planter boxes are fabricated using Paneltim®, an innovative 50mm thick plastic construction panel. The internal cross-rib cell structure of Paneltim® provides superior strength and rigidity resulting in a lightweight alternative to concrete or steel construction. For long boxes, internal braces are added to ensure the walls remain true when loaded with soil. The boxes can be installed with spacers between each planter to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. Paneltim® is UV stabilised to withstand Australia’s harshest conditions. Planter and rain garden liners are fabricated using 6mm polyethylene.
Clients have clad our planters in a range of finishes including rubberised render, contact adhesive, timber and pressed metal.
