Lint Trap
A lint trap is designed for use in a commercial laundromat. Its purpose is to filter lint particles passing through the tank via the use of a mesh filter basket contained inside the tank. This filtering process prevents lint from entering the sewerage system.
Traps must be checked and maintained regularly to ensure trouble-free service. Over time, the basket will become filled with lint and must be removed, emptied, cleaning thoroughly and replace to ensure correct function. Small particles will collect at the bottom of the trap and require flushing or manual removal.
