Viking Plastics Managing Director, Malcolm Ling, recently journeyed to Europe to visit Pro-Therm, the most successful plastics fabrication business in the Netherlands. Based in Holland, Pro-Therm is the world’s forefront consumer of Paneltim® using in excess of 1000 square metres per week.
Pro-Therm produce plastics for industry treatment and storage solutions. Their product range includes fume scrubber housings; swimming pools; portable building and site sheds; tanks and related equipment.
Meeting with Pro-Therm owner, Dirk-Jan van der Steen, Ling shared experiences and both discussed the difference in Australian and European plastic fabrication techniques. The meeting proved most insightful exploring the possibility of developing new products and introducing unique Australian and European products into respective niche markets.
